Digitization of Food Distribution

The use of this platform aims to optimize the regular flow of foodstuffs and to increase the adequacy between the food needs of the organizations and the foodstuffs offered by Moisson Estrie to these organizations. This will make it possible to better meet needs, while limiting food losses.

Then, this platform will be enhanced with a new digital module aimed at allowing Moisson Estrie to distribute, to its accredited organizations, foods offered on an ad hoc basis by suppliers. These foods will then be offered to organizations on a “first come, first served” basis.

It is also planned to support Sherbrooke food organizations accredited by Moisson Estrie in the appropriation of these new tools. Affected organizations will be notified when they are ready for deployment.
