Data Collection on Safety, Reuse and Food Waste

As part of the development of Champ d'actions – Collective project in food security – baccalaureate students in environment from the University Center for Training in Environment and Sustainable Development (CUFE) of the University of Sherbrooke (UdS) have developed a data collection tool on food safety, reuse and waste. This tool, in the form of a form and analysis grid, will allow:

 

  • to measure the social, environmental and economic impact of the actions implemented within the framework of Field of Actions;
  • to measure current and potential food valorization.

 

For this aspect of the project, Champ d'actions will be able to count on the technical support of the Environment Office of the City of Sherbrooke, Synergie Estrie (Sherbrooke) and the Estrie Regional Environmental Council (CRE Estrie) .
